Hunter VanDonsel

Farm Bill Biologist - North Central

Hunter’s love for hunting, fishing and the outdoors started at a young age while exploring the outdoors near his childhood home of Helena, MT. Hunting is what sparked his passion for conservation and wildlife, making him want to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. Hunter received a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana. He has worked a number of wildlife jobs across the state of Montana, working in a number of capacities with MT Fish, Wildlife, and Parks in Havre, Glasgow, and billings and with MT Department of Natural Resources and Conservation in Missoula. In early 2017, Hunter started with Pheasants Forever as a biologist in Chinook, MT where he assists landowners across the Hi-line with conservation projects, wildlife habitat enhancements, and grassland restoration. In his spare time, Hunter is most likely pursuing elk, deer, fish or upland birds across Montana.
