Coordinating Wildlife Biologist - Lewistown
Trenton was born and raised in Western Washington where the hunting tradition was instilled upon him at a young age. His families love for hunting in Montana inspired him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management, which he received from Montana State University in 2016. While at MSU and for 2 years after graduating, Trenton lived the seasonal wildlife technician life, studying and working in South Africa, working with Sage-grouse and Sharptailed grouse in Utah and Sidney, MT, and monitoring rangelands in Idaho and Washington. After working a seasonal job with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in Glasgow, Trenton transferred to Region 3 where he worked for 3 years as a Hunting Access Technician. Trenton looks forward to bringing his experience of building relationships with landowners to secure public access in his new role with Pheasants Forever in the Lewistown area. As a Coordinating Wildlife Biologist and partnered with the Bureau of Land Management, Trenton will be assisting in the surveying and management of Sage-grouse habitat and working on future public access agreements.
